Thanks to the internet we can easily keep in touch with the people we care about. Instead of sending someone a letter and waiting a long time for it to reach its destination, you can send out an email instead, and it will reach its destination a lot faster. Instead of traveling a long distance to see someone, you could chat with that someone using a webcam.

And here is where the functionality provided by River Past Cam Do comes in handy. If you want to keep a record of your conversation, you can use this application to record it. That is what River Past Cam Do has to offer: the capability to record webcam conversations.

Recordings are saved as AVI, WMV, DivX, XVID, MKV or OGM. Any player out there can play these formats. You can record a conversation, then share it with others, or perhaps upload it to your personal blog or website. The choice is up to you.

Some sites have a live feed and they stream images from a certain location; they set up a webcame in a specific location, and they broadcast the images from said webcam over the web. You can use River Past Cam Do to record those images. You can also use the application’s built-in scheduler to automatically start the recording at a specific time and automatically end the recording at a specific time.

Please note that River Past Cam Do is only free to try. You can use the application free of charge for as long as you want, but you will have to contend with a few limitations. The trial version adds a watermark over the recording and limits the recording time to 2 minutes. To get rid of these restrictions you have to get a license, of course.

River Past Cam Do is an easy to use application that can record webcam chats (video and audio) as AVI, OGG and a handful of other formats. It also comes with a handy built-in scheduler for unattended recording tasks.
